A Superb sunny morning greeted the 3 Juniors who turned up for the first of what is hoped will be a regular run.The accompanying adults were to say the least a bit apprehensive about the well turned out youngsters who all had a proven Tues league record and were all looking as fit as the proverbial butchers Dog.
Off we set and within a mile of the club house it was evident that the adults were in best behaviour (they stopped at a red light) after a while of waiting we did what cyclist do best carried on regardless and off we set for a circuit of to the town. Myself and Martin were have a grand yarn at the front when the shout from the president came to let the young ones on the front.
With pace upped significantly Lewis and Cameron did a great effort both riding nice and tidy most impresive indeed.
The circuit of the town was soon completed and a well earned coffee stop was taken a Kinloss. where the usuall cycling debates were held with great gusto. Main topic seemed to be the rising price of Scones. It has been sugested that as this is a staple food of cyclists, a letter should be sent from the club secretary to the Scottish Parliment to see if we can get this subsidised.
Always wary of the main road up from Kinloss as drivers dont give a lot of room on this road the pack kept really neat and tidy.
And cycling back through the town there were plenty of spectators out waving and cheering.
All agreed it had been a great day and anticipation is already high for the next one.
Well done Lewis,Cameron and Jamie true champions.
