| Strong westerly winds forecast for just after your coffee/cake stop, and Scottish scorchio.
Which direction are you heading?
The length of the grovel back to Nairn could be important, in terms of the rest of my holiday. | |

| An excellent turn out today with approximately 26 riders taking part in the club run. The black and gold peleton was certainly motoring at times, splitting up at the AA box and meeting at Broadley for the obligatory tea and cake(s). With a nice sedate pace back to Forres. Thanks to everyone who came along, and of course to Matt B for keeping us all amused with his clown bike with its exploding tyres and that magically & noisily changed gear by itself. With the racing season ending soon, it will be good if we can continue to get large numbers out on the club runs. Hope to see you next week ! Dave. | |

| Thoroughly enjoyable run once again. The AA box didn't seem quite so far, or so high as last time, despite the headwind, so I must be doing something right. Lochindorb was heavy going though right enough ! I'm getting such a taste for this that I'd better look at actually coughing up some subs one of these days. Cheers again. | |

| Great day out and nice to have a Sunday off to come out with club. Seems like a while. Good pace throughout and cakes were brilliant as usual. Matt's clown bike is amusing at times but he could never put in a stealthy attack as you can here him coming from miles away. 6 years is way too long to have the same chain and cassette ya tight sod. And they say the Scottish are tight with money. | |

| There's at least another 5,000 miles in my chain/cassette! A mechanic at a bike shop said the chain was stretched and needed replacing in 2006, but what does he know!? . And the cassette will be ready for replacement when the teeth are sufficiently smooth for it to be made into a rear hub! Unfortunately, I had a 2nd puncture a mile or so down the road, so had to ride the last two miles with a flat. My clown bike really did reach its zenith - slipping gears, wobbly trajectory, squelching rubber and clanking wheel! I felt like a true champ!! Matt B. | |
