Week 9 but only 7th race due to two cancellations. 21 riders. Lovely calm conditions and only a spitter of rain at the start.

PBs from Garry and Alana Russell, Neil L2, Emma Finlayson, Steve and Euan Kershaw, Scott Reid, Euan Walker, Kyle Cartmell and both Moraig Lyall jnr and snr.

Good start made on two laps by Tracy and Erin Carpenter while Ralph and Calum Allmond tackled 4 for the first time.

After another two weeks racing the current points are as below. Kyle Cartmell maintains his lead at the top of the juniors and impressively at only nine years old has now moved on to two laps of the 4 mile course. Sensibly, on his first ride at this distance he rode conservatively leaving plenty of room for improvement in the coming weeks. Scott Reid has moved up into second place, two points behind, and Calum Allmond is moving fast up the league with a couple of good rides at 4 laps.

There is currently a three-way tie at the top of the seniors with Tracy, Neil and Ralph all on 16 points. All still to play for.
