NEW CLUB JERSEY

Ok, Owing to the feeling that is quite high in the club lets get things back into perspective!
Our aim is to either:
1, Compete
2, Train to get fit
3, Ride with others who simply enjoy being on a bike!(Even if some do it in the woods in the dark(you know who you are!)
4, Socialise with like minded people and end up falling out over the campag / Shimano debate that will never end.
5, Be a part of FORRES C.C.

these aims are in no order and you can have 1 or more, Just like a new club jersey!

The rules allow us to have another as long as we keep to the same colours which for our club are Gold and Black!
These are our colours and are the history however the design can be changed and it can be our future!

Basically and I dont want this thread to become all UCI bound(UCI is thought to be UNION CYCLISTE INTERNATIONAL)
However can also equal (UTTERLY CONFUSING INTERFEARANCE) oh this is my view and not the clubs!!!

IF we have a new design made up which is the current intention you do not HAVE to buy it, you can choose to!
If we compete as a team in a single road race we would need to all be wearing the same jersey,
However in reality there will be plenty of time to sort out getting all entrants a loan of either an old or new jersey for a particular race if multiple entrants do ride! Time trials wont be affected at all!

So the proposal!
We have a new design! and when your old jersey needs replacing you replace it with the new one, so there is no urgent need to go out and buy a new set, unless you want too!

Sponsorship, This is also a possibility, however I hink we need to have some kind of deadline this will enable anyone who wants to get involved in a sponsorship time to commit and also time for anyone who wishes to come up with a design.

So finally get your creative minds going and come up with a design and we can have another look at the results at the next club meeting on the 30th Nov, Thanks for reading, Matt.

Matt I think what you are saying is the feeling of most and its all about whats best for the club and pulling together.
Can we all please act like adults and accept the decision of the majority. Let us all wait and if you have anything to say on the matter then lets leave it until next meeting.
