For Sale: Minoura Bike Turbo Trainer and Work Stand

Minoura Hyper mag 1200. Same as pictured in link below. Good condition. Works well. Couple of slight problems/defects. Bar remote control doesn't seem to want to stay in the lowest reistance setting at the moment - possibly needs a new cable - but not really a problem as it goes up to 5 and changing the gear has the same effect - so not an issue at all unless you're a bit fussy. Could just need a new shifter cable. The other thing is the attachment/hinge for the remote control is broken, but still stays in one piece and attaches to the bars just fine. £70. *** Turbo Trainer Now Sold. Cheers.

Go on sell your soul to the devil and buy a turbo! I did and it worked for me: I used to be a carefree mountain biker who loved to ride and had friends, but buying a turbo turned me in a zombie like, Cycling Weekly reading, manic depressive. Only joking readers!.....kind of!

Also for sale, and much less scary, a Minoura Work Stand. The link below shows my model - now superseded the W 3100. The review says not the most stable, but I haven't found that a big problem....or really at problem at all. It sure makes working on a bike a whole lot easier than propped up against a wall! Mine has a little light rust/cracked paintwork on the legs, but otherwise fine and dandy. £40.

Don't know, Jim, am I? If they are £140 (as it seems) then half-price doesn't seem too bad to me. Or am I missing something? If I wanted one, I'd rather buy this and have £60 or £70 still in my pocket. It's in very good nick, stated slight defects aside, and not much used. Open to offers, obviously. Anyway, there it is.....
