THURSDAY TRAINING NIGHT

Thursday night 1830hrs meet at the APR Start. If people cant make 1830 no worries just get out there when you can and join in when a group comes by.

The aim is really to bring on the younger ones and the not so experienced bike handling and a chance for the vastly experienced and talented riders to pass on their knowledge.

There is no reason why everyone cant get some training value out of it but for the real athletes thrash yourself for an hour before you turn up!

Intend to use short five mile circuit so it is better to manage the groups and the young ones can do one lap two or so on.Latecomers can jump in, any one dropped from a group can turn and pick up the next group with out a long wait.

It will take a couple of weeks to get it right and a little bit of tweaking here and there but if the numbers on Saturday are anything to go by a wee bit of crack and the training nights could be very productive.

If Peter and Alan would kindly brief anyone who is keen especially the younger ones who this is geared towards that would be spot on.

Callum, that sounds great, it would be a pleasure to come along and help the younger ones. Will let you know later if Thursday is good.

Sound Jim hopefully we get bodies turning up we really need to get the young ones going. Any other adults going to be there and what about you wee faces ?

Good nights training quite enjoyed the roll of coach for a change!
Managed three groups Kate and Laura, Billy and liz and Matt, Milt and Jim
Scope for this being a good training night if more get involved and we get more of the young ones out. Im sure Kate and Laura enjoyed the training tonight they were certainly working hard enough.

Good night I thought. Not sure about the coach though.. Tells me has was a world chump, sorry champ, on the track in his youth ! Lets be having more of you out over the next few weeks. Very good training for everybody and callum has at last found a use in life and feels wanted. Well done to all that turned up.
