Sunday Club Run - 18/07

As the Monster Club Run is off, meet at the clubrooms for 09.30am for a 'standard' club run

Everyone welcome - Especially prospective new members.

Money required for the obligatory coffee & cake stop -

Pace to suit everyone - Weather scheduled with the man upstairs to be decent on Sunday, not many away, so there's no excuse not to ride

Good run, windy but warm and dry. Hope your wasp sting doesn't cause too much trouble Dave and thanks for keeping Laura company on the way back. Good to see both Ettles out and a new "King of the Mountains"!!

If you're referring to me, Alan, my reasonably rapid ascent of "Alpe du Drynacan" was fuelled by the desperation of being stuck in 34 x 12 after a most unfortunately timed gear cable snap! I might have been first to the top, but I was nearly "spitting blood" as they say in Yorkshire! And I wasn't storming ahead nearer the end of the ride that's for sure! A good ride though. Cheers.
